Banner Children’s at Thunderbird is prepared and ready to put your mind at ease as we care for your children. We provide comprehensive, family-centered pediatric care for children. Our pediatric services include a pediatric emergency zone, a pediatric inpatient unit, pediatric intensive care, a 36-bed neonatal intensive care unit, a BCT pediatric blood and cancer outpatient clinic and a pediatric infusion center. Our hospital is staffed 24/7 with onsite pediatric and neonatal intensivists and pediatric hospitalists. We also offer specialty care from a variety of over 15 pediatric specialists. Banner Children’s at Thunderbird is proud to partner with Ronald McDonald House Central and Northern Arizona to offer the first Ronald McDonald House Family Room in the Phoenix area. Located inside the hospital near our NICU and PICU, this space provides parents and caregivers a comfortable place to rest and recharge while staying close to their child during critical care.
