Banner Health. Exhale.
Rapport is key for all patients and even more so in the pediatric population. Being able to find a patient’s motivation and leverage that to achieve our sleep-related goals has been extremely helpful. When age appropriate, having the child’s understanding and “buy-in” is key to treating any health problem. I love to use diagrams, pictorials and analogies to simplify complex issues so that patient’s and their families leave the visit feeling heard, knowledgeable and empowered
